Patterson Library provides story times for local schools, preschools, headstart, and daycares. Please contact the library to arrange a visit to the Library!
Patterson Park
Nobody should ever be bored at Patterson Library! No matter when you visit there are always fun activities and great books. Our Children’s Area, “Patterson Park,” features the best new childrens books by great writers and illustrators. We always have craft activities available on our “Help Yourself” shelf in the storytime/craft room. Six computers give access to fun and educational games. And our toddler area has creative toys to spark the imaginations of our youngest visitors. By request we have favorite family board games like Pictureka, active games like Hyperdash, and a Wii with games like Just Dance and Wii Music — just ask a librarian for help!

2-5 Year Old Storytime: Every Wednesday at 9:30 am!
Storytime with Amy Stephenson is for children 2 to 5 years old with parents (or grandparents or guardians!) as active participants.
Great stories, creative crafts, and fun songs!
Show the child in your life that reading is fun!

Baby and Me
Baby and Me storytimes with Amy Stephenson are every Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 7 pm. Please call the library at 326-2154 to sign up– this helps us keep you updated on any schedule changes. Thanks!

After School Programs
Wednesdays are Art and Activity Day! Stop by Patterson Library after school every Wednesday for games, art, and refreshments. All ages are welcome to use the Teen Area to play PS3, the Wii will be in the storytime room, and we’ll have arts and crafts projects for you to do. Can’t come on Wednesday? There’s lots to do every afternoon. Thursdays one of our dedicated volunteers leads an arts and crafts project for anyone who wants to join in, and every day we have great games, wonderful new books, fun activities, and plenty of craft supplies just waiting for your creative mind to make something out of them.
